Product Packaging

Aside of the branding work I did for Continental Cosmetics, there was a partnership with the Gehwol brand to redesign their current packaging that will be going into Shoppers Drug Mart stores across Canada.

Packaging Before

After doing some market research, I decided to present some vibrant and subtle options. Based on what I saw on shelves, the full colourful options would blend in with the other brands. My suggestion was to keep their similar white branding but modernizing it. This would allow it to still be consistent to their overall brand, but also stand out against their competitors on the shelves.

Design ideas were first executed for the Balm, and then the rest of the product line after decisions and revisions had been made.

Packaging Design Options

While creating numerous designs, I gathered ingredient lists and made icons for each main ingredient in their products. I then created a repeating, seamless icon pattern for all their ingredients to be able to use in the packaging patterns across multiple designs. The stand alone icons would also allow them to use them across different areas of the brand.

Upon decision and revisions, this was the final design style that was agreed upon. Continuing to make all other product packages in the line.
